COMMUNITY TRAINING GROUNDS

VYBE emerged onto the Canadian dance scene in 1996. They have made an exciting impact on audiences with their highly energized performances. Their street style savvy and unique choreography has made them widely known and well respected within the dance industry. VYBE dancers can be seen appearing in numerous events, concerts, TV programs, and commercials both locally, and internationally.

Our mission is to provide a platform for our students to explore their creativity and diversity in a positive and safe space, while also allowing them to showcase their talents with their peers.

1996

VYBE Dance Company was founded in 1996 by Teego, with the goal of allowing students to have a safe space to explore their unique creativity and talents.

SPOTLIGHT, VYBE's annual dance showcase was created to give our students and local talent (singers, dancers, entertainers) a platform to share their craft and talents with their friends and family, along with members of the dance community

Jasmin takes over as Owner and Creative Director of VYBE, ushering in a new era for the company, while still honouring the mission and values of the company, and providing a space to nurture and grow the GTA dance community.

From our inception, VYBE aimed to have training programs that cater to all levels. We are proud to foster a community and company that allows students of all levels to dance, train, and have fun! Our Drop In Classes happens 5 days a week and feature classes for various styles and levels! For those seeking a more progressive, team-based training, our Company Training Programs offer training for students who want to not only grow as dancers but leaders as well!

Our faculty features dancers of all different backgrounds and all bring something different to the table. Collectively, we have been able to work and train with a number of world-class dance talent including The Kinjaz, Keone and Mariel Madrid, Kyle Hanagami, Brian Puspos, Adrian Vendiola, Sorah Yang, and many more! It's our diversity that gives us our reputation as Markham's top Dance Studio
